Bed and breakfast in Clovelly
18th century farmhouse accommodation
Slerra Hill Bed and Breakfast is a 250 year old former farm house that used to be part of Clovelly estate. Nestled snugly on the hill above the famous cobbled village of Clovelly it overlooks beautiful unspoilt countryside to the sea with Lundy Island sitting on the horizon. We are situated 8 miles from the Port town of Bideford and 15 miles from Bude just across the border in Cornwall.
Becky and Russell invite you to stay in their family home where the emphasis is on relaxation and comfort and a real ”home from home” feeling. The large modern guest room is quiet and spacious with everything you should need to make your stay an enjoyable one. The large garden is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun or a morning coffee.
Situated just a ten minute walk from the North Devon Coast Path and the village of Clovelly it also has the benefit of being only a few miles from a vast range of attractions and sites that offers something for everybody. From quiet coves and sandy beaches to the drama of Hartland Quay the coast is particularly alluring to visitors to the area but there are so many other places to visit; stately homes, theme parks, beautiful gardens, churches, museums, golf courses and a waterpark to name just a few.
We welcome walkers, drivers, cyclists and bus riders! The local bus passes the door and there is a bus stop a short walk up the road.
